About the position

The MMC Specialist - Insurance Operations position is designed for an established and productive professional who operates independently with minimal supervision. This role is critical in executing operational, prospect, and client service cycle activities within a designated zone. The specialist will frequently collaborate with various offices, zone, and corporate leadership to fulfill responsibilities that include reporting and data management, process improvement design and implementation, and contract review. As a liaison, the MMC Specialist will act as a point of escalation for broking and front office teams concerning operations processing and service exceptions. This role requires a demonstration of increased technical proficiency, enabling the individual to answer transactional questions effectively. Additionally, the specialist will exhibit leadership skills, engage in peer-level coaching, resolve issues, and delegate work as necessary. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday, with a focus on modernizing medical careers and enhancing insurance operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational, prospect, and client service cycle activities within a designated zone.
• Collaborate with offices, zone, and corporate leadership to meet reporting and data management responsibilities.
• Design and implement process improvements.
• Review contracts as part of operational duties.
• Act as a liaison and point of escalation for broking/front office teams regarding operations processing and service exceptions.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in answering transactional questions.
• Exhibit leadership skills and engage in peer-level coaching.
• Resolve issues and delegate work as necessary.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Modernising Medical Careers (Required).
• 5 years of experience in insurance operations (Required).
• 5 years of experience in data entry (Required).
• 5 years of experience in communication skills (Required).
