About the position

The Front-end Web Developer position at BAE Systems focuses on creating and enhancing user interfaces using modern web development frameworks and technologies. Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance user interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.js.
• Write and manipulate HTML-5, CSS, and JavaScript for web applications.
• Lead projects and ensure quality assurance in web development processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and customers regarding project status and requirements.
• Incorporate multimedia elements such as audio, video, and graphics into web presentations.
• Utilize modern web development tools and libraries, including Git, node.js, SQL, SASS, and jQuery.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant experience in front-end development.
• Proficiency in writing and manipulating HTML-5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong skills in user interface design and visual communication techniques.
• Experience with database programming and SQL statements.
• Ability to lead projects and provide excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and structured authoring software.

Nice-to-haves

• BS or MS in a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with commercial electronic publishing applications.
