The position involves working directly with Business Development Representatives to drive sales through the branch. This includes developing customer quotes, sourcing products for optimal margins, and ensuring timely follow-up on all communications. The role requires adherence to MNI Direct company policies regarding sales and quoting processes, as well as submitting qualified quotes to the Quoting Coordinator promptly. The individual will be responsible for maintaining communication with assigned accounts weekly and documenting customer interactions. Additionally, the role includes cold calling potential customers, providing branch customer service, and building relationships with walk-in customers to enhance trust in the MNI Direct brand. Responsibilities also encompass assisting with customer orders, inventory management, and coordinating with the branch team and regional buyer for product orders. The position may require assisting with plant health and appeal, pricing items in the yard, and performing other sales-related duties, including small deliveries and day-to-day operations.
