About the position

As a Wireline Telecom General Manager at MasTec Communications Group, you will oversee all financial aspects of the area's operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role emphasizes safety and quality service, requiring strong leadership and project management skills to guide teams in the successful completion of telecom construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Give direction, guidance, and support to construction and project management departments.
• Develop and direct processes to facilitate the successful completion of projects from start to finish.
• Prioritize projects based on needs and escalation, and assign projects as necessary.
• Regularly evaluate performance and develop your team's skill set and knowledge of telecom construction.
• Interface with vendors, subcontracts, and the client.
• Drive safety culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience, preferably in a telecom construction environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proven track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Hands-on approach to work and problem-solving.
