About the position

As a Telecom Wireline General Manager at MasTec Communications Group, you will oversee all financial aspects of the area's operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and team development within a safety-minded environment, focusing on expanding technology for community betterment.

Responsibilities

• Give direction, guidance, and support to construction and project management departments.
• Develop and direct processes to facilitate the successful completion of projects from start to finish.
• Prioritize projects based on needs and escalation, and assign projects as necessary.
• Regularly evaluate performance and develop your team's skill set and knowledge of telecom construction.
• Interface with vendors, subcontracts, and the client.
• Drive safety culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience, preferably in a telecom construction environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to work.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn custom software.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in team development.
