About the position

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri, School of Medicine is seeking a Program/Project Coordinator I for a sponsored initiative known as MO-CPAP, which aims to extend child and adolescent psychiatric services into rural Missouri. This position is crucial for coordinating various program elements and developing effective marketing, enrollment, and utilization strategies to enhance engagement and enrollment for both MO-CPAP and MO-CPAP Schools in Western Missouri. The coordinator will serve as the primary contact for the Northwestern, Southwestern, and Western regions, addressing questions, concerns, and technical assistance requests from new providers. In this role, the coordinator will attend practice visits, conferences, and training opportunities to foster connections and facilitate the enrollment of new providers into the MO-CPAP initiative. They will assist the programmatic teams by contributing to the development of strategies aimed at increasing enrollment and engagement. This includes creating educational materials such as guides, handouts, flyers, and one-pagers for providers, as well as supporting the development of educational modules, webinars, and pre-recorded resources. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a structured work environment conducive to professional development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Attend practice visits, conferences, and/or training opportunities for Northwestern, Southwestern, and Western regions to create connections and enroll new providers into MO-CPAP.
  • Serve as the first contact for the above regions with questions, concerns, and/or technical assistance requests.
  • Assist MO-CPAP programmatic teams in developing enrollment, engagement, and education strategies.
  • Create guides, handouts, educational one-pagers, flyers, etc. for providers.
  • Support the development of educational modules, webinars, and pre-recorded educational resources for providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with public health programs and/or mental health care programs is encouraged.
