Responsibilities

• Develop features for mobile applications for customers and the company.
• Implement unit and functional/integration testing.
• Share knowledge and learning with the team and contribute to system architecture design decisions.
• Improve the scalability and security of applications.
• Interface with QA, UX/product design, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Android developer or equivalent experience in software development.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with Constraint layout, Recycler View, and Compound Components.
• Ability to effectively communicate within a team and with project stakeholders.
• Enthusiastic about product quality, design, code quality, and user experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Willingness to ask for help, learn from others, and mentor others in turn.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs is a plus.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack Navigation, Retrofit, and MVVM architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with iOS development appreciated.
• Experience with Mockito mocking library and Espresso UI testing.
