Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile App Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Dart and the Flutter framework, with extensive experience in integrating with AWS resources (Cognito, S3, Amplify, AppSync), embedded databases (SQLite), and RESTful APIs. A deep understanding of mobile app design patterns (MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Viper) is essential. The candidate should also have experience managing the process and infrastructure for shipping features in a production environment, including building test and monitoring infrastructure, and deployment infrastructure (staged rollouts, rollbacks, Fastlane). Experience with IoT devices and Bluetooth technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Dart and Flutter.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Implement and adhere to mobile app design patterns such as MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Viper.
• Integrate with AWS resources including Cognito, S3, Amplify, and AppSync.
• Design and manage robust embedded database systems, specifically SQLite.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services.
• Oversee the end-to-end process of shipping new features.
• Build and manage test infrastructure to ensure code quality.
• Develop and maintain monitoring infrastructure for production environments.
• Manage deployment infrastructure including staged rollouts, rollbacks, and automation tools such as Fastlane.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Develop and integrate IoT device functionality (Nice to Have).
• Implement Bluetooth communication protocols within mobile applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience with Dart and the Flutter framework.
• Extensive experience integrating with AWS resources (Cognito, S3, Amplify, AppSync).
• Strong background in embedded database technologies, specifically SQLite.
• Expertise in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of mobile app design patterns (MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Viper).
• Proven ability to manage deployment infrastructure including staged rollouts, rollbacks, and automation tools like Fastlane.
• Experience with IoT devices and Bluetooth technology is a plus.

• Depending on the level of experience and how much equity you elect for, total compensation packages range from $100k-$160k.
• Like Amazon in the early days, we have a company-wide salary cap of $160k so everyone maintains an ownership mentality.
