About the position

Verilogue is seeking a Mobile App Developer to join its Application Development Department. This role focuses on the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a reliable, scalable, and secure technology infrastructure that enhances user experiences and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality apps.
• Optimize apps for performance, usability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve app-related issues and bugs.
• Stay informed about the latest mobile development technologies and trends.
• Participate in code reviews and uplift to coding standards.
• Ensure apps meet App Store and Google Play Store guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field.
• 4+ years of prior software development experience.
• Experience with iOS and Android native app development and deployment.
• Proficiency with Swift and Objective C languages.
• Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
• Skill in integrating APIs and web services into mobile applications.
• Experience with implementing push notifications and in-app messaging.
• Understanding of mobile app security best practices and data protection.
• Familiarity with mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of app publishing processes on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Proficiency in database design principles as well as SQL skills.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
