About the position
We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Web Developer to join our team in the Financial Services industry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves creating and maintaining high-performance web and mobile applications using advanced technologies such as React and React Native, while collaborating with a team of technical leads and developers to deliver best-in-class applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop user interface components using React and React Native frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Utilize advanced programming techniques including object-oriented and functional development, Web Accessibility, and RESTful design patterns.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced technical leads, developers, and business resources to deliver best-in-class applications.
- Independently research technical challenges and propose solutions.
- Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility by leveraging experience with browser APIs.
- Enhance the test coverage of multiple applications, including unit, functional, and integration tests.
- Lead the entire app lifecycle from concept to deployment and beyond, including Continuous Development and Continuous Integration (CD/CI).
- Architect efficient and reusable front and middle-tier systems that drive complex web and mobile applications.
- Demonstrate strong self-management skills and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Effectively communicate technical designs and solutions in both verbal and written formats.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Atlassian Jira
- Significant experience in Backend Development
- Proven ability to perform Bug Tracking
- Proficient in Client Side Scripting
- Experience with Content Management System (CMS)
- Knowledge of AB Testing techniques
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
- Skilled in Ajax programming
- Experience in API Development
- Proficiency in ASP.NET is required
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry is a plus.
