About the position

Unison Systems is seeking a contract Mobile Developer to join their global, cross-functional team in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on launching revenue-generating mobile commerce products, particularly in mobile payments and the interactive payment experience on smartphones and tablets. The Mobile Developer will contribute to the design and development of custom native mobile applications, working within an Agile/SCRUM methodology to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop custom native mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical teams on technical specifications, design, build, testing, and delivery.
• Participate in design, code, and content reviews.
• Test custom and enhanced applications.
• Research and resolve issues related to mobile applications.
• Apply a basic understanding of the client's business operations.
• Work within an Innovation Development Team using Agile/SCRUM methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or relevant work experience.
• Several years of experience developing native Android or iOS applications.
• Development experience with Java and/or Objective-C.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of IT standards, procedures, and policies.
• Experience with application testing and unit testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with prototyping and continuous integration.
• Scripting tools and languages such as Groovy, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience with C++ and SQL.
• Agile (e.g., SCRUM) software development certifications or equivalent experience.
