About the position
The Mobile Application Developer position at Modis involves developing innovative mobile applications aimed at addressing real-world security challenges. This contract role is based in Chicago and requires collaboration within a team to create frameworks and complex applications for multiple devices.
Responsibilities
- Working on a team collaborating and being extensively content-driven
- Building frameworks to use across multiple devices
- Building complex multi-layer applications
Requirements
- Responsive Mobile Web development experience
- Understanding of Object Oriented CSS/ Modular CSS
- Good understanding of SASS/LESS
- Extensive experience with HTML and JavaScript
- Extensive experience with web/mobile UI issues
- Solid knowledge of Web/mobile front end architectures
- Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile applications (preferable not a requirement)
- Image Optimization skills, including creating sprites and using SVGs for retina optimized images
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
