About the position

We are seeking a talented and innovative Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that enhance user experience and engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and apps on Apple and Android platforms
• Maintain and update existing apps, including fixing bugs as needed
• Collaborate with other developers, support staff, and end users on app features and capabilities
• Stay current with industry trends, new technology, platform changes, and best practices
• Deliver production ready releases on schedule
• Collaborate with other team members on back end API services to support mobile app functionality
• Document app release notes, source control commits, instructional materials, functional requirements for collaborative works, and others as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in developing apps on Apple iOS/iPadOS and Android using languages such as Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices, including data protection and security concerns
• Ability to design functional and purposeful user interfaces that adapt properly to various hardware configurations/sizes, device rotation, etc.
• Proficiency with authentication and authorization using standards based technologies such as JWT, OpenID and OAuth
• Experience with HTTP API service integration and various payload types, such as XML and JSON
• Experience with source control tools, such as GIT
• Must demonstrate the ability to diagnose, debug, and fix software bugs
• Must demonstrate experience with the full app life cycle, from concept through completion.
