About the position

The Mobile Apps Developer position is a contract role focused on enhancing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The developer will collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors to support existing applications and develop new ones for different operating companies. The role requires participation in Agile meetings and coordination of production deployments, ensuring the success and adoption of the mobile apps across various business units.

Responsibilities

• Fix bugs and make enhancements to iOS and Android apps.
• Work with vendor and internal resources to support the existing KY mobile app and build the PA and RI mobile app (iOS and Android).
• Collaborate with the customer service line of business to ensure the continued adoption and success of the mobile app for all three operating companies.
• Attend daily Agile meetings.
• Coordinate production deployments.

Requirements

• 5 plus years' experience with developing and leading a team of developers for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) apps.
• 5 plus years' experience with pushing both iOS and Android apps to public app stores.
• 5 plus years' experience with testing iOS and Android apps using emulators and simulators.
• Experience with Identity Providers for Authentication.
• Experience with Google Firebase for app monitoring.
• Experience with Push Notifications.
