About the position

Bridge Core is seeking a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join their team in Reston, VA, with the option to work remotely. The role focuses on architecting, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that support tactical athletes, firefighters, law enforcement, and others in high-stress environments. The developer will work with both Android and iOS platforms, utilizing React Native and Expo to create innovative solutions that modernize the digital workplace and enhance client missions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance mobile applications for fitness and wellness tracking.
• Design and implement core mobile application features in React Native.
• Extend existing functionality of mobile applications.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain application performance.
• Maintain clear communication with team members.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical meetings.
• Work in an agile environment utilizing Scrum methodologies.
• Deploy builds through Expo to Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 4 years of React Native experience.
• At least 2 years of Expo experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proven experience successfully deploying applications to the Google Play and Apple App Stores.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the deployment cycle and CI/CD pipelines.
