About the position

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Applications Developer to join our software engineering team in Corvallis, Oregon. This position is a contract role where you will collaborate with a small team of software engineers, quality assurance testers, and product managers to maintain and enhance software solutions specifically tailored for our Forensics customers. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing existing software products, identifying and fixing bugs, and ensuring that reported issues are resolved and tested effectively. You will also be expected to take on additional duties as directed by management, contributing to the overall success of the team and the projects at hand. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in software development to contribute to the continuous improvement of our applications. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial analysis and design through to implementation and testing. Your ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both locally and at client facilities worldwide will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to analyzing and fixing bugs in existing software products.
  • Analyze, resolve, and test reported issues.
  • Perform any other duties directed by management as required.

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional software development experience with a solid understanding of C# and the .NET environment.
  • Experience with Android and iOS development.
  • Experience with cross-platform C# Xamarin or MAUI is a plus.
  • Experience with GIS and/or GNSS is a plus.
  • BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cross-platform development tools like Xamarin or MAUI.
  • Familiarity with GIS and GNSS technologies.
