The Mobile Application Technical Lead (MATL) will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring a dedicated team of 4-6 development resources focused on the new development of mobile applications. These applications are intended for both internal and external customers, primarily aimed at enhancing marketing support. The MATL is expected to be an effective communicator with proven leadership skills, capable of collaborating with Business Analysts and department heads to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of network and communication technologies, which is essential for the successful implementation of mobile applications in a complex corporate environment. The ideal candidate will possess over 12 years of hands-on application development experience, with at least 8 years dedicated to the development lifecycle, from implementation to production release. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development is required, particularly within a complex corporate setting. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid grasp of network and communications technologies and architectures, which will be crucial in the development process. The MATL should also have extensive experience with various technologies, including AngularJS, Java, API Gateways (such as Apigee), Microservices, REST API, and RDBMS (such as Oracle). Architectural domain knowledge is essential, particularly in areas such as DevOps automation and cloud application architecture, specifically with AWS and/or Azure. Furthermore, the candidate should have at least 4 years of mobile app development and implementation experience within the telecommunications industry. Hands-on experience with code branching methodologies, reusable development components, and unit testing is also required. Strong familiarity with API standards such as TM Forum and MEF API, along with experience in Agile development methodologies, particularly in large-scale initiatives and with geographically distributed teams, is essential for this role.
