About the position

The Mobile Associate role at T-Mobile is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer service. As a member of the Retail Team of Experts, Mobile Associates act as brand ambassadors, engaging customers and providing them with a world-class experience. This position focuses on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. It is a learning role that prepares associates for advancement to the Mobile Expert level.

Responsibilities

• Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class customer experience.
• Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
• Explore individual customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of technology.
• Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
• Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
• Become skilled in using digital tools during customer interactions.
• Complete training on T-Mobile in-store experience and new skills.
• Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
• Identify and handoff small business leads.
• Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
• Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect with customers (Required)
• Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas (Preferred)
• Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)
