About the position

The Mobile Associate role at T-Mobile is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer service. As a member of a Retail Team of Experts, Mobile Associates act as brand ambassadors, engaging customers and providing them with personalized solutions to meet their needs. This position focuses on building relationships, enhancing customer experiences, and preparing associates for advancement to the Mobile Expert role through comprehensive training and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Builds proficiency related to serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class customer experience.
• Helps customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
• Explores individual needs and provides hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
• Engages in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
• Approaches service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
• Becomes skilled with digital tools to demonstrate T-Mobile's coverage and services.
• Completes training on T-Mobile in-store experience and new skills.
• Seeks out information between customer interactions to learn about innovations in wireless and technology.
• Establishes relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience.
• Identifies and hands off small business leads.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
• Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect with customers (Required)
• Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas (Required)
• Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)
