About the position

The Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store at T-Mobile plays a crucial role in the Retail Team by representing the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. This position focuses on engaging customers actively, creating excitement around T-Mobile's products and services, and building strong relationships through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates are responsible for meeting performance targets while providing exceptional customer experiences and utilizing solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment.
  • Use digital tools to communicate effectively and educate customers about T-Mobile solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate product value.
  • Recommend wireless solutions and assist customers in understanding how to self-serve using the T-Mobile app.
  • Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, products, and processes.
  • Review personal results and current promotions to be Customer Ready at all times.
  • Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers effectively.
  • Perform skills practicing, knowledge sharing, and store operations including opening and closing procedures.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers to exceed their expectations.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity.
  • Follow up with customers and manage Be Back processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
  • Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect with customers (Required)
  • Effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Desire to be part of the T-Mobile store team and learn best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
