About the position

The Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store Retail Sales position at T-Mobile is a customer-facing role that focuses on engaging with customers in high-traffic retail environments. The role is designed to bring the T-Mobile brand to life by providing exceptional customer experiences, educating customers about products and services, and driving sales through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates are expected to excel in sales performance while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment.
  • Utilize digital tools to communicate effectively and educate customers about T-Mobile solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, products, and processes to be customer ready at all times.
  • Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers effectively.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers to exceed their expectations and drive sales activity.
  • Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
  • Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect and engage with customers (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer experience with performance goals (Required)
  • Desire to work as part of a team and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
