About the position

The Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store role at T-Mobile is a part-time position focused on engaging customers in a retail environment, particularly within National Sales partner locations. This position is essential for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life, creating excitement around products and services, and building strong customer relationships through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates are responsible for educating customers about T-Mobile solutions, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment.
  • Use digital tools to communicate effectively and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate T-Mobile products and services.
  • Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes.
  • Review personal results, current promotions, and updates to be Customer Ready at all times.
  • Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers effectively.
  • Perform skills practicing, knowledge sharing, and store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity.
  • Follow up with customers, capture referrals, and manage Be Back processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect with customers.
  • Effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals.
  • Desire to be part of a team and learn best practices while serving customers.
  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
