About the position

The Senior Mobile Automation Test Engineer will design, implement, and manage automated testing strategies for mobile applications, ensuring high-quality and user-centric experiences. This role involves collaboration with development, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and Java.
• Implement and manage test frameworks for iOS and Android applications using XCUITest and Espresso.
• Develop clear, behavior-driven test scenarios using BDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber.
• Set up and manage test environments with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize JIRA for test management, bug tracking, and reporting.
• Manage feature flags and conduct A/B testing with tools like SplitIO.
• Perform API testing and validate RESTful API endpoints using Postman.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mobile automation testing.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in mobile automation testing with Selenium and Appium.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with XCUITest and Espresso for iOS and Android testing.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks and tools such as Cucumber.
• Proficiency with Xcode and Android Studio for mobile app testing.
• Solid experience with JIRA for test management and bug tracking.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Knowledge of feature management tools like SplitIO.
• Proficiency in Postman for API testing and validation of RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.
