About the position

The Mobile Crisis Community Support Specialist II is responsible for providing immediate support and intervention to clients in crisis who have reached out to the 988 mobile crisis hotline. This role involves responding to crisis situations in various community settings, working collaboratively with a team to ensure effective support and recovery for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The position operates on an evening shift, requiring flexibility and the ability to manage stress in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Provides community support services to complex clients, utilizing treatment plan interventions for positive outcomes.
• Completes timely documentation of services, detailing the need for service, interventions provided, and individual responses.
• Contacts individuals or referral sources following missed appointments to re-engage clients and promote recovery efforts.
• Supports individuals in crisis situations, providing immediate assistance and intervention.
• Mentors and provides job shadowing to community support colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field.
• Class D (IL) or Class E (MO) License required upon hire.
