About the position
The Mobile Crisis Professional plays a crucial role in supporting children and families in crisis by providing individualized, culturally sensitive, and goal-driven services. This position involves collaboration with families and community entities to ensure that the needs of children and their families are met effectively. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and local travel to address the high-demand nature of the work.
Responsibilities
- Gather and understand current and past psychosocial histories using diagnostic tools and assessing risk factors.
- Plan and lead treatment team meetings to develop effective treatment plans/services.
- Deliver services, maintain records, advocate for families, and evaluate goals to ensure effective treatment plan implementation.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all involved entities.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with external licensing and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and/or families.
- State Police, FBI clearance, child abuse clearance, and CPSL Mandated Reporter training.
