About the position

The Mobile Dental Assistant at Sprinter Health is a part-time role focused on providing preventative dental care, specifically topical fluoride applications, to pediatric patients in their homes. This position emphasizes autonomy, quality care, and the integration of modern technology in healthcare delivery. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving patient outcomes and increasing access to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide topical fluoride applications to pediatric patients in their homes.
• Ensure all necessary supplies and PPE are prepared for patient visits.
• Navigate to patient homes using modern technology for scheduling and communication.
• Establish warm connections with patients and collect relevant health information.
• Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and compassion in all patient interactions.

Requirements

• Some level of dental schooling or work experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Driver's License and current vehicle insurance.
• Proof of vaccination or immunity for COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB test, Influenza, and TDaP.
• Ability to physically access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 10 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in dental applications, particularly with children.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Technologically savvy, comfortable using mobile devices for charting and communication.

Benefits

• Base hourly wage of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour plus mileage and applicable overtime.
