The Mobile Dental Assistant position at 360care involves providing essential dental care services to patients in long-term care facilities. This role is crucial in assisting physicians with dental procedures and ensuring that all clinical records and charts are accurately maintained through electronic medical records. The Mobile Dental Assistant will be responsible for the care and cleaning of medical equipment, ensuring that all tools are in optimal working condition, and troubleshooting any equipment issues that may arise. The position requires a high level of customer service, as the assistant will interact with patients, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure a positive experience for all involved. In this role, the Mobile Dental Assistant will assist the dentist with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner, reviewing and verifying clinical records and medical histories. The assistant will efficiently manage patient flow during facility visits, which may include pushing wheelchairs and ensuring that all dental procedures are conducted smoothly. Daily responsibilities also include balancing and generating production reports, accurately posting dental charges, and maintaining an inventory of dental supplies. The assistant will be expected to provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. The position requires travel up to 100% of the time, as the Mobile Dental Assistant will be visiting various long-term care facilities.
