BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Mobile Developer (iOS and Android) Professional for an opportunity in Tampa, FL. This position is onsite and is expected to start as soon as possible, with the actual start date subject to change. The role is a contract position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a pay range of $60 to $64 per hour on a W2 basis. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not include additional non-standard compensation such as benefits or paid time off. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience. The candidate should have over 12 years of native mobile engineering experience, showcasing a strong portfolio of published apps on both iOS and Android platforms. Proficiency in mobile application development using Swift and Kotlin is essential, along with a strong knowledge of mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices. The Mobile Developer will be responsible for designing testable software and building large-scale, complex applications. A well-rounded understanding of various mobile app frameworks and web services is required, as well as working knowledge of common build tools. The candidate should also have an understanding of performance optimization best practices and hardware compatibility and versioning strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are crucial, along with a willingness to apply and expand skillsets to meet client needs. Experience working with globally distributed teams is also preferred.
