About the position

Daugherty Business Solutions is seeking an experienced iOS Mobile Developer to join their innovative team. The role involves developing high-quality mobile solutions in a consulting environment, working closely with clients to understand their needs and providing technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in iOS development and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly iOS applications. This position is mostly remote, with some onsite work required for certain clients or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift, Objective-C, and the latest iOS SDKs.
• Serve as a technical consultant by understanding client requirements and translating them into tailored iOS solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications while adhering to project timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients on mobile best practices and solutions architecture.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Participate in client-facing meetings to present technical solutions and updates.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and client value.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate backend services.
• Stay up to date with Apple's mobile development standards, guidelines, and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Hands-on experience with Xcode and Apple development tools.
• Proven experience in building and deploying applications on the App Store.
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and UIKit.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services.
• Experience with third-party libraries, API integrations, and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in client-facing scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience delivering customized solutions for clients in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.
• Experience with modern architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices in a consulting environment.
• Experience with UI/UX design and implementation.
• Familiarity with iOS accessibility standards and testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
