HireArt is assisting an innovative R&D research company in hiring a Mobile Developer (iOS) who is passionate about the intersection of technology and behavioral sciences. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting systems that facilitate the building of prototypes while collecting and analyzing experimental data from human subjects. You will collaborate closely with software infrastructure engineers and engage in various tasks related to mobile app development, front and back-end web development, and data pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline and have a keen interest in supporting researchers within the Carbon Neutrality department. As a Mobile Developer (iOS), your primary responsibilities will include developing systems that support human subject data collection. You will work alongside researchers to determine system requirements and will be involved in the architecture and testing of these systems. Your role will also require you to iteratively develop user interfaces that showcase research ideas, create web-based survey applications, and develop mobile apps capable of collecting, archiving, and analyzing data from various sensors. The position demands a strong foundation in native mobile app development, particularly with the latest iOS technologies and SwiftUI, as well as full iOS stack experience, as many projects will require integrating different front-end and native background components to create novel user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a prototyping mindset, capable of building robust solutions that can address a continuous stream of scientific inquiries. You should be adept at integrating mobile clients with complex web services and APIs, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within teams. A proactive attitude and a willingness to seek out new opportunities for impact are essential, along with strong time management and prioritization skills. An eagerness to learn new skills will also be beneficial in this dynamic role.
