About the position

We are seeking a talented Mobile Developer specializing in iOS to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that integrate seamlessly with our back-end services. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive designs and ensuring the best user experience for our apps. You will leverage your expertise to contribute to the overall aesthetics and functionality of our mobile applications, making them not only visually appealing but also highly efficient and user-friendly. As a Mobile Developer, you will engage in the design and development of professional business applications specifically tailored for the iOS platform. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your responsibilities will also include working with external data sources and APIs, unit-testing your code for robustness, and addressing edge cases to ensure usability and reliability. In addition to development tasks, you will be expected to fix bugs and enhance the responsiveness, quality, and performance of our applications. Your leadership will be instrumental in continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies that can improve our development efficiency and overall product quality. Responsibilities

• Design and development of professional business applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a dynamic work environment.
• Work with external data sources/APIs, unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Fix bugs and improve application responsiveness, quality, and performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.

Requirements

• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift.
• Experienced with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.
• Deep understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiar with working with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knowledgeable in performance tuning, threading, and offline storage.
• Understand code versioning tools such as Git and Mercurial.
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
• Experience in continuous integration is a plus.
