About the position

Kforce is seeking a Mobile Developer to join their team remotely. The role involves supporting the entire application lifecycle, from concept to release and support, while producing fully functional mobile applications and ensuring they meet quality standards. The developer will collaborate with product teams, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the design and implementation of new features.

Responsibilities

  • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
  • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
  • Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
  • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
  • Design interfaces to improve user experience
  • Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
  • Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
  • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
  • Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products
  • Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies
  • Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
  • Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application
  • May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results
  • May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences
  • Other related duties assigned as needed

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
  • Experience with Hybrid Mobile Application
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift, Kotlin and Java
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
  • Familiarity with OOP design principles
  • Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
  • Familiarity with Cordova or react native is plus
