We are seeking a skilled Mobile developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative features for software products.
  • Fine-tune and sustain existing code for optimal performance.
  • Guarantee top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to align software with user expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience with React JS.
  • Unit test expertise using any unit testing framework like Junit.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Java with strong concepts in Object Oriented Programming.
  • Web Development expertise with an understanding of server-side programming.
  • Expertise in source code tools like GitHub.
  • Experience with work management tools like Jira and test management tools.
  • Working experience in IDEs like Eclipse and Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience in Agile development methodology.
  • Understanding of Selenium/Appium test framework and experience using it for test automation is a bonus.
  • Understanding of security vulnerabilities.
  • Decent communication skills, fast learning capabilities, good collaboration skills, and a go-getter attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Mobile app development experience with understanding of device native code.
  • Knowledge/expertise in Cordova.
  • Functional test automation expertise.
  • Experience contributing to security issue analysis and fixes.
  • Windows app building experience with understanding of device native code.
