About the position

The Mobile Developer position at LRS Consulting Services offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in Kansas City, MO. This role combines the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of a collaborative in-office environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile and web application development, particularly using the Microsoft technology stack, and will play a key role in building and maintaining high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality scalable and predictable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack and maintain internal and external facing web applications.
  • Evaluate new code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security, and metrics.
  • Serve as an authoritative source for relevant Microsoft platforms, with familiarity in open-source frameworks and technologies being a plus.
  • Provide project leadership by planning, allocating, motivating, and controlling project work and IT staff and other resources on a limited scope.
  • Assist in the development of IT staff technical expertise by preparing and conducting formal classes and providing technical assistance on complex system problems.
  • Contribute to the improvement in departmental and operating efficiencies by participating in the development of standards and procedures and by initiating and promoting new concepts and ideas.
  • Create and direct software system testing procedures, documentation, and programming to ensure all software is properly developed and regularly tested for quality assurance.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent technical training.
  • At least 7 years of programming experience with demonstrated proficiency utilizing C#/.NET framework, .NET MAUI, and MS SQL Server to develop/support web and network hosted enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to evaluate/refactor code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security and metrics.
  • Demonstrated design capabilities and experience with UI development.
  • Mobile development experience with tools like Xamarin or Flutter, with a desire to learn Blazor mobile is a nice to have.
  • Experience with Agile-Scrum and other development SDLC tools/processes/methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.

  • Experience with Blazor mobile development.
