About the position

The Mobile Developer position at Notchup involves developing and maintaining mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create seamless mobile experiences, while also ensuring code quality and application performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless mobile experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug mobile applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Android (Kotlin, Java) and iOS (Swift, Objective-C) development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with UI/UX standards and best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM.
• Proficiency in SQLite or another mobile database management.
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, XCTest).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with React Native or Flutter.
• Knowledge of Cloud services such as Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app distribution platforms.
