About the position

The Mobile Developer position at ZAP Solutions is a full-time role focused on leading mobile development efforts for various startup projects. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, deploying, and supporting mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. The role emphasizes the importance of user experience, performance, and clean code, requiring collaboration with backend developers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Ensure attention to design, performance, user experience, scalability, and clean code.
• Work closely with backend developers and designers on app design and integration.
• Launch mobile web-service driven apps in the Apple App Store and Android Market.
• Maintain and update existing mobile applications.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of production mobile app design and development experience.
• Strong mobile UX design, coding, and support/maintenance skills.
• Experience with iOS and Android (Java) from design to store to updates.
• Proficiency in Objective C, Java, Xcode, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, and Web Services.
• Experience with source code management.
• Familiarity with web-services, social, e-commerce, gaming, and multimedia apps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Titanium or similar frameworks.
• Effective CSS layouts, graphics, icons/glyphs, fonts, and motion graphics design.
