About the position

The Mobile Developer position at Volto Consulting involves designing and building advanced applications for Android and iOS platforms. Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android or iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile development with a focus on Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like MVVM or MVP.
• Familiarity with the App Store or Google Play submission process.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Tunnel.
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management and Application Management.
• Familiarity with Virtual Private Networks.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Technical documentation skills.
