About the position

The Mobile Developer position at BCforward involves designing and building native mobile applications primarily for the Android platform. The role requires collaboration with design teams, ensuring application quality and performance, and maintaining code for various mobile applications. The developer will participate in the full app life-cycle, from concept to deployment, and is expected to have a strong background in Android development and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build native mobile applications on the Android platform.
• Design and implement application updates.
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features.
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications.
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks.
• Fix application bugs before the final release.
• Publish applications on the App Store.
• Maintain the code and automation of the application.
• Participate in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.
• Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proficient in Android, Swift, Core Java, and Kotlin.
• Extensive knowledge of XCode and development experience in Core Java.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Web Services, Rest Services, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and XML.
• Experience with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
