About the position

The Mobile Device Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of mobile devices at Newcomb and Company, including Apple iPhones, iPads, and MiFi devices. This role involves overseeing device setup, user account management, and troubleshooting, while also serving as a local IT representative for user assistance. The position requires proficiency in mobile device management and a strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

  • Reset users' passwords as needed for field personnel.
  • Complete setup of new user accounts using Cherwell.
  • Terminate accounts for separated users by collecting devices and wiping them clean.
  • Manage devices through the Wireless Watchdog company portal.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory in the EMCOR Asset Management system (EAM).
  • Order mobile devices via the Corporate Central Procurement system.
  • Reconcile the monthly mobile device bill from Wireless Watchdog.
  • Attend EMCOR corporate IT meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in troubleshooting iOS devices is required.
  • Experience in managing mobile devices is a plus but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 products is necessary.
  • Active Comp Tia A+ Certification or in progress is preferred.
  • Degree in a related tech/STEM field is acceptable.
