About the position
The Mobile Device Management Consultant will provide enterprise-level support to customers by diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues. The role involves assisting customers with the installation of applications and programs, as well as managing and administering mobile device management (MDM) solutions across various platforms including iOS, Android, and Windows.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from customers regarding MDM solutions.
- Design, implement, and administer MDM infrastructure using Workspace ONE (Airwatch).
- Create and review High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Test Cases documents for MDM solutions.
- Manage and administer Device Management, Application Management, Content Management, and Email Management.
- Configure VMware Workspace ONE to support Mac devices.
- Prepare a video self-service platform for users on Windows and Mac.
- Set up Apple Business Manager and manage communications for migrating existing Macs to management.
- Establish a zero-touch provisioning workflow for new Macs using Insight as the reseller.
- Set up configuration profiles in accordance with Apple best practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Apple DEP, VPP, and Enterprise Connect implementation.
- Good understanding of Certificate Authority operations.
- Experience configuring VMware Workspace ONE for Mac support.
- Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager setup.
- Expertise in firewall configurations for Apple Push Notification Service (APNS).
- Experience in setting up configuration profiles for Macs.
