About the position

The Mobile Device Support Analyst role at Innova Solutions involves managing mobile device procurement, support, and billing processes. This position is crucial for ensuring efficient mobile device operations within the organization, including overseeing repairs, managing inventory, and conducting audits to optimize costs. The analyst will also support team goals through various project-related tasks and maintain documentation related to telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the evaluation of mobile device products and the use of mobile device equipment.
  • Procure mobile devices using Mobile Iron.
  • Provide backup staff support during vacations.
  • Coordinate and oversee mobile device repairs and problem resolution by vendors.
  • Process and verify mobile device billing, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Gather mobile device procurement forms and documents, and manage archived records.
  • Perform project and non-project related tasks to support team goals and objectives.
  • Manage mobile phone recycle and inventory program.
  • Sort, file, and maintain filing systems for mobile devices.
  • Assist with maintenance of hospital phone directory by updating staff information.
  • Maintain inventory of mobile devices and prepare supply orders.
  • Maintain emergency telecommunication documentation.
  • Perform monthly mobile device invoice analysis, validation, and payment approval.
  • Manage ServiceNow mobile device ticket queue for PBX and mobile devices.
  • Conduct monthly wireless audits to assess cost-effective plans and update mobile catalog.
  • Reconcile mobile device equipment to ensure billing accuracy for terminated or retired employee equipment.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in the Telecom field or IT-related roles.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Telecommunication Mobile device support and Wireless Expense Management (WEM).
  • Solid understanding of carrier billing systems, telecommunications invoicing, and contracts.
  • Experience working with local, long distance, wireless, and specialized carriers.
  • Proficiency with numbers and experience in analyzing large data sets.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mobile device management software.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications regulations and compliance.
