About the position

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Mobile Device Support Analyst. This position is a contract role with a duration of 6 months or more, located in New York City. As a Mobile Device Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating mobile device products and managing the use of mobile device equipment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing mobile device repairs and problem resolution by vendors, processing and verifying mobile device billing, purchase orders, and invoices, and gathering necessary procurement forms and documents. You will also perform project and non-project related tasks to support team goals and objectives, manage the mobile phone recycle and inventory program, and maintain the emergency telecommunication documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing monthly mobile device invoice analysis, validation, and payment approval on wireless invoices to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. You will manage the ServiceNow mobile device ticket queue for both PBX and mobile devices, conduct monthly wireless audits to assess cost-effective plans, and reconcile mobile device equipment to ensure billing accuracy. This role requires a proactive approach to managing mobile device inventory and ensuring that all processes align with company policies and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the evaluation of mobile device products and the use of mobile device equipment.
  • Coordinate and oversee mobile device repairs and problem resolution by vendors.
  • Process and verify mobile device billing, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Gather appropriate mobile device procurement forms and documents, and search for archived records to forward to requestors.
  • Perform project and non-project related tasks to support team goals and objectives.
  • Manage mobile phone recycle and inventory program.
  • Sort, file, and maintain alphabetical, numerical, and subject filing systems.
  • Assist with maintenance of hospital phone directory by updating staff information and systems performance.
  • Maintain inventory of mobile devices and prepare a list of supplies to be ordered.
  • Maintain emergency telecommunication documentation.
  • Perform monthly mobile device invoice analysis, validation, and payment approval on wireless invoices.
  • Manage ServiceNow mobile device ticket queue for both PBX and mobile devices.
  • Perform monthly wireless audits to determine cost-effective plans and update mobile catalog as necessary.
  • Reconcile mobile device equipment to ensure billing accuracy for terminated/retired employee equipment.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years proven experience in the Telecom field or IT related, including a broad knowledge of various telecom/IT products, services, and technology.
  • 3 to 4 years proven experience in Telecommunication Mobile device support and Wireless Expense management (WEM).
  • Solid understanding of carrier billing systems, telecommunications invoicing, technical communication, circuit provisioning, configurations pricing methods, and contracts.
  • Proven experience working with local, long distance, wireless, and specialized carriers.
  • Proven proficiency with numbers and experience in analyzing large amounts of data, with the ability to consolidate and translate that data into business insight.
  • Solid expertise with carrier's portals, including opening circuit tickets when issues arise.
  • Strong analytical skills, with Excel expertise being necessary.
