About the position

The Mobile Device Support Analyst role at Robert Half is a long-term contract position focused on providing technical support for mobile devices within the IT/Troubleshooting Help Desk framework. The analyst will work primarily with Android and iOS platforms, ensuring efficient use of mobile applications and troubleshooting hardware/software issues. This position requires on-site support at various hospital campuses and involves managing help desk tickets using the ServiceNow system.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and remediate hardware/software issues on mobile devices, focusing on both iOS and Android platforms
  • Provide end-user training and education to ensure efficient use of mobile devices and applications
  • Manage IT/Troubleshooting Help Desk tickets using the ServiceNow system
  • Develop proficiency in using company-licensed mobile applications to resolve tickets efficiently
  • Familiarize yourself with the company's Mobile Device Management system to assist in setting up corporate smartphones
  • Travel to various hospital campuses to provide client-facing support for mobile devices and their software
  • Serve as the first point of contact on-site for various team members, including executives and physicians
  • Ensure proper processing and recycling of spare and used smartphones for re-issuing
  • Use skills such as Android Development, Android SDK, Android Studio, Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, API Development, Apple Devices, and CSS in performing duties.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Android Development, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira.
  • Familiarity with Backend Development.
  • Proven ability in AB Testing.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in API Development.
  • Proficiency in managing Apple Devices.
  • Knowledge of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.
