About the position

The Mobile Device Support Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating the transition from corporate mobile devices to personal device usage within the Financial Services industry. This position involves providing mid-level support for deploying Microsoft Intune on various devices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth transition for employees. The role is a long-term contract opportunity based in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a thorough transition plan, moving from corporate mobile devices to personal device use.
  • Provide mid-level support to deploy Microsoft Intune on Android and Apple devices.
  • Explain and demonstrate how to set up, troubleshoot, and access various applications and websites previously accessed via corporate devices.
  • Coordinate with the project coordinator to arrange engagements and meetings regarding device setup and troubleshooting.
  • Provide consistent and accessible remote support to assist the company's remote workforce with their transition.
  • Maintain a reliable record of device issues and compile regular progress reports for the project coordinator.
  • Provide top-quality IT support to a significant workforce, ensuring a smooth transition for all employees.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Android Development, Android SDK, and Android Studio
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira is necessary
  • Must have a strong background in Backend Development
  • Familiarity with AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in API Development is required
  • Proficiency in handling Apple Devices
  • Knowledge of CSS is necessary
  • Experience with Windows Intune and Intune is required
  • Must have a background in financial services industry
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and ensure mobile device functionality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must have a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in mobile technology and applications
  • Ability to provide training and support to users on mobile devices and applications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
