About the position

The Telecom/Mobile Manager at Innova Solutions is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing a team of 5-6 direct reports. This position involves overseeing vendor and carrier management, procurement of mobile devices, and maintaining inventory. The manager will ensure 24/7 support for mobile telecommunications services across various healthcare and school-based clinics, while also managing mobile device-related projects and processes to ensure timely delivery and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 5-6 direct reports.
• Oversee vendor and carrier management for mobile telecommunications services.
• Procure mobile devices and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Create and manage mobile device support and procurement processes.
• Ensure 24/7 support for mobile telecommunications services across various facilities.
• Plan, design, deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot unified telecommunication infrastructure.
• Manage mobile device-related projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee design, planning, and implementation for mobile device carrier upgrades and deployments.
• Conduct quarterly reviews and complete inventory for mobile devices and related equipment.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget for the Telecommunication Department and monitor expenditures.
• Collaborate with carrier vendors and IT organizations to resolve technical issues.
• Train and evaluate staff on new policies and procedures.
• Manage facilities VOIP to mobile device services and assist with migration to VOIP.
• Prepare weekly summary reports and staff assignment updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in telecom/mobile management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Expertise in vendor and carrier management.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management for telecommunications.
• Knowledge of mobile device procurement and inventory management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize telecommunication infrastructure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare telecommunications services.
• Familiarity with VOIP and unified communication systems.
