About the position
Flawless Dogs Mobile Salon LLC is seeking experienced Mobile Dog Groomers to join their family-owned luxury mobile grooming service in Modesto, CA. The role involves providing high-quality grooming services directly at clients' homes, utilizing a fully equipped and climate-controlled mobile salon. Groomers will work independently, fostering long-term relationships with clients and ensuring each dog receives exceptional care and pampering.
Responsibilities
- Groom dogs according to breed standards and hair types.
- Understand and manage animal behavior to ensure safety and calmness during grooming.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client requests and offering recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pet's condition and grooming needs.
- Maintain a clean and disinfected grooming environment and equipment between appointments.
- Recognize common pet health issues and communicate them to clients, referring to a veterinarian when necessary.
- Adhere to grooming schedules and arrive punctually at client locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1.5 years of grooming experience in a salon setting.
- Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record.
- 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, sit, or stoop for extended periods.
