About the position

The Mobile Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that support Casey's strategic objectives. This role emphasizes expertise in Flutter, with openness to candidates experienced in React Native who are willing to learn Flutter. The engineer will work on technical solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Mobile Applications: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Flutter. Candidates with React Native experience are expected to transition to Flutter.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Cross-Platform Development: Ensure the mobile applications are compatible across various platforms and devices.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze and identify areas for modification and improvement in existing mobile solutions. Develop new solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute automated unit tests to ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile applications that meet business requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code and development processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in Flutter development.
• Experience in React Native is a plus, with a willingness to learn Flutter.
