About the position

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician at Goodyear, you will play a crucial role in providing on-road services at our Commercial Truck & Tire Centers. This position is designed for skilled technicians who are passionate about commercial trucks and tire services. You will be responsible for conducting preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on various areas such as wheel end work, brakes, air systems, and more. Your technical expertise will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service and high-quality workmanship. In this role, you will also provide specialized tire services, which include mounting, dismounting, and repairing tires. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to uphold safety and liability policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Collaboration is key, as you will work as part of a motivated team to meet organizational goals and deadlines. The job requires physical stamina, as you will perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, which may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting, particularly when handling commercial tires and wheels.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
