We are seeking a mobile home community manager/maintenance person or a husband/wife team to oversee the turnaround of a small 32-space mobile home park located in North Fork, CA. The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong property management and communication skills, along with the ability to perform some maintenance tasks within the community. This role is crucial for ensuring the community meets its occupancy goals and maintains a high standard of living for its residents. The day-to-day responsibilities of the community manager will include showing and leasing available units, obtaining bids, and supervising vendors to enhance the overall appearance and quality of the community. The manager will also be responsible for enforcing community rules and regulations, assisting with maintenance tasks, and achieving the financial objectives set by the ownership. This position requires gathering pertinent information from tenants, inspecting properties, and ensuring that current residents adhere to community standards. The manager will work closely with the corporate team to communicate property conditions and activities, as well as assist in the development and implementation of property procedures to deliver the best product possible. This is a contract position that offers flexibility in work hours and prioritization of tasks. The manager will need to have their own transportation and some tools to perform maintenance duties. The community has experienced some neglect, but it has good residents, and with hard work, it can be transformed into a desirable place to live.
