The Information Services Developer II is a pivotal role within our organization, primarily responsible for the design, development, and implementation of systems that meet specific business requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of development methodologies, which the candidate must adhere to while designing and coding applications. The developer will collaborate closely with team members to ensure quality support for both internal and external users, emphasizing customer service and timely delivery of solutions. In this role, the developer will analyze business ideas and functional requirements to formulate effective design strategies. They will act as a tenant to create workable application designs and establish coding parameters that include essential functionalities. Collaboration is key, as the developer will work with team members to identify and address issues, implementing viable technical solutions that are both time and cost-effective while maintaining high performance quality. The developer will be responsible for writing code that follows industry best practices and adheres to organizational development standards. They will also develop and deploy code using existing tools and platforms for automation and testing. Additionally, the developer will evaluate proposed system acquisitions or solutions, providing input on compatibility, cost, resource requirements, operations, and maintenance. Integrating software components and subsystems into the existing technical systems environment is another critical responsibility. The developer will assess the impact on other systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Information Services to ensure positive project outcomes. They will also participate in the development of standards and proactive processes to collect and report data on assigned systems, as well as research, design, and implement applications, databases, and interfaces using provided technology platforms.
